peculiar fragments of a city

This collection of urban fragments from Bremen was created during the course “Artist as Independent Publishers” taught by Katrin von Maltzahn and Kati Barath.

These are moments that manifest not as clear images, but as deliberately distorted, diffuse apparitions. These fragments elude a coherent urban landscape; they do not point to a closed structure, but rather form a loose series of atmospheric fragments. Their blurriness reveals a different understanding of urbanity: not as a fixed place, but as a state of limbo in which perception, memory, and spatial experience flow into one another.
